Through its team of advisors, Aspiring Barristers is able to offer tailored support for international aspiring barristers who are either considering or are actively in the process of seeking to qualify as a Barrister in England and Wales from a different jurisdiction. Aspiring Barristers' International Advisors are also able to offer support to international aspiring barristers who already have legal qualifications and who are transferring from their country of initial qualification to practise at the Bar of England and Wales.
Aspiring Barristers' International Advisors provide one-to-one support to international aspiring barristers seeking to qualify as a Barrister in England and Wales from a different jurisdiction and to assist with guiding them through that process by answering any questions or queries they may have.*
Each Aspiring Barristers International Advisor has themselves gone through the process of qualifying as a Barrister in England and Wales from another jurisdiction. This means that each International Advisor can offer international aspiring barristers first-hand advice on their own experience having already undertaken that process, as well as provide more generic advice on the steps international aspiring barristers are required to take in transferring to the Bar of England and Wales.
*N.B. There is a wealth of useful information already available on the Bar Standards Board website and each of the 4 Inns of Court websites addressing how international aspiring barristers from other jurisdictions can qualify as a Barrister in England and Wales. International aspiring barristers should familiarise themselves with this information first before requesting the additional support of an Aspiring Barristers International Advisor.
